Welcome to Weivo

Weivo is a prioritization tool for product managers who need decisions that hold up to scrutiny. It turns the input of several stakeholders, each with an explicit weight, into a ranked list, a capacity-fitted roadmap, a budget split and a decision report you can share and defend. The core idea: different stakeholders care about different things, and their influence varies. Weivo makes those weights explicit, collects the ratings, runs the math in the open, and writes down why.

The model in one paragraph

A Weighted project has one pivot and two ratings.
  • Needs are the pivot: the outcomes your stakeholders care about. Everything is rated against them.
  • Stakeholders rate how much they want each need, from 1 to 5. That is the Voting matrix.
  • Features are rated on how much they deliver each need, from 1 to 5. That is the Coverage matrix.
A feature’s value is its coverage, weighted by how much each need matters once stakeholder weights are applied. Divide by effort and you have its priority. Every number on every output traces back to a cell in one of those two grids.
“Needs” and “features” are the default names. A project can call them objectives and initiatives, objectives and programs, or anything else that fits your organisation. See Vocabulary. This help center uses the defaults.

What a project looks like

The sidebar groups a project’s tabs by role: A Direct project, for decisions that are yours alone, keeps Home, Features, Analysis, Roadmap and the Decision Report and skips the stakeholder half. See Planning modes.

The path through a Weighted project

  1. Create a project and pick Weighted planning.
  2. Add the needs your stakeholders care about.
  3. Add stakeholders with weights that total 100, and invite the ones who should vote for themselves.
  4. Collect the votes: every stakeholder rates every need from 1 to 5, in their own portal or entered by you.
  5. Add the features you are choosing between, with a rough effort for each.
  6. Fill in Coverage: how much each feature delivers each need.
  7. Read the Analysis. Set a capacity to unlock the Roadmap, and a budget to unlock Allocation.
  8. Generate the Decision Report, save a version, share a link.
The AI assistant can draft steps 2, 3 and 5 from a description of the decision. Everything it proposes waits for your approval.

Where AI fits

Weivo uses AI in three places: the assistant that proposes items, the explanation of a stakeholder conflict on the Analysis tab, and the brief at the top of the Decision Report. In every case the AI writes about your data. It never casts a vote and never invents a priority. See AI in Weivo.

Desktop only

The planning workspace needs a window at least 768 pixels wide and shows a notice below that. The stakeholder voting portal and shared decision reports work on any device.

Getting support

Ask the in-app assistant (the Assistant button in the header, or the round button in the bottom right) about the project you are in. The Help button beside it opens this help center. For anything else, email support@weivo.io. Billing and account questions are answered in the Billing and Account FAQ.
